Better than the second one... I LOVED the train area..

Somehow I find the second one TOO complicated.. So I always play the first one..

Mastered both. Now making a list of how many times in each level a certain weapon is wielded by an enemigo.

Second one is not hard but... it is difficult than first one

I actually found the 2nd one a tiny bit harder, but much more fun.

I've been replaying this game a bit and I just got to the bottomless pit part on Area 5. Gosh, that's haaaard. Beat in 2 tries though.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: ahfaz12 on July 04, 2014, 06:34:45 AM
Bottomless pit is not hard for me

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion

The annoying part is getting shot by enemigos.

You guys made me got hooked to this game. Plus, the intro is way BETTER than the second one's intro. And what's most.. I wonder who's that guy in he shadows?

Guy in the shadows? That guy is one of Hatfield's henchmen, maybe sent by his boss for keep an eye on McCoy.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Kowhai on July 04, 2014, 07:47:54 PM
Ah, yes. Probably the enemigo who reported to Hatfield that McCoy 'has been looking mighty strange lately'.

The sequel's intro was ok, but I felt like it had too much of a back story. We don't need that much info!

If tat's where you have to kill 20 enemigos with the Roman Candle, then yes.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Penguin022 on July 06, 2014, 04:40:24 AM
I'm gonna get to this when I'm done all the games released before McCoy. So this should take some time...

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: ahfaz12 on July 06, 2014, 06:57:55 AM
I defeated boss and did all last area challanges and treasures except the one in which you have to defeat the boss in five lifes remaining.

The squirt gun was hard

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Penguin022 on July 06, 2014, 07:45:44 AM
I remember getting 85% on this, then losing all my data. DX

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Vinnie on July 06, 2014, 01:13:05 PM
The game, it is hard
what's everyone's best times on stuff like the squirt gun and chicken coop (go back and forth throughout the level)

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: WafflesFana! on July 06, 2014, 01:33:50 PM

No, it's the challenge in Sunset Gulch where you need to kill 3 enemigos in the same explosion.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: ahfaz12 on July 07, 2014, 01:01:03 AM
I did it but i don't know how to do it or how i did it.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Kowhai on July 07, 2014, 01:26:27 AM
If you're talking about Big Bang, when I completed it I mastered the game 100%. It was all that was left that I needed to do (in McCoy 2, it was master the weapon Bottles)

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Vinnie on July 07, 2014, 04:14:55 AM
I'm having trouble in level 4 on the part after the 3rd treasure. I already figured out I needed to jump and throw the chicken, but whenever I try to throw it to the second ledge it bounces back onto the first ledge

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: ahfaz12 on July 07, 2014, 04:16:13 AM
You need to throw it on the platform in a way that you grab the rope too

Where are all the statues? where are all the pedestals? How do we get to the hidden treausre in the BOSS FIGHT?

3: Don't break the vases. Then you stand over a vase at certain place and you see first treasure. To get it and to reach other area of level, you need more vases

I beat Cactus Canyon 100%. I found all treasures and beat most stars on my first try, but the timed one took my some time to complete.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion

I beat last area and first six areas 100%

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion

I will not lie, in the mines I tried for six minutes to get the squirt gun and I never came close. I am quite certain it is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: ahfaz12 on July 07, 2014, 09:46:49 AM
Here is a spoiler for you

when you enter the rumble area and complete the rumble you should see a ladder at start of rumble area. Climb and you will find squirt gun

12 level squirt gun was hardest

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Penguin022 on July 07, 2014, 12:50:32 PM
That happens to me all of the time. When you keep bumping an enemy, and the enemy drops its weapon, it gets stuck in walls. It can be really annoying.

Title: Re: Cactus McCoy Discussion
Post by: Nickito on July 07, 2014, 01:17:46 PM
That was pretty much the last Enemigo, and I hate the gun weapons, so I didn't actually care.

try to juggle enemigo until you reach the other without being hit. If you want a fairly easy way, aviod being hit in the rumble

And thanks for reviving the board

Interesting, it was the opposite for me, I changed the controls to the CMC controls when I played WBA.

Epic game, can't believe that flipline didn't make more sequels and stopped at CMC2. CMC2 is one of the best platformer games on the internet which does not get enough attention which sucks.

Brother B: I noticed that the Brown Swinging Enimigo has a different hat in the poster than in the game. It looks like the Whipping Enimigo's hat colored brown.

Brother B: Maybe they changed it for a reason, because that's their official poster. I think they would be careful not to make a mistake.
