Title: Forum MBTI Chart
Post by: CursedSkylark on October 28, 2017, 03:14:43 AM
The MBTI (Myers-Brigg Type Indicator) is commonly considered as the best way to get to know yourself. It has been extensively studied and improved upon since its inception. Let's bring it here to the forum! You can use any test on the internet to be added to this chart, but 16 Personalities is probably the best. It has huge amounts of resources (and even forums) to explain what your results mean. You can find it below. The second link describes the test.

https://www.16personalities.com/
https://www.16personalities.com/articles/our-theory

As the title implies, there are 16 personalities, divided into 4 groups. Each group is broadly similar, then further divided into the main 16 personalities. There are four traits that contrast to get your personality. There is a fifth trait sometimes attached onto these four that also influences your personality, but to a lesser degree.

Previous Owners:
V1: PixelHunter
V2: eevee

Have fun! The chart is located below.

Anyone like this test? I feel like the MBTI is one of the best personality type tests. Of course it isn't perfect either.

I merged myself to be the creator for now since PixelHunter is inactive but anyone more interested than me in just making a chart?

"I merged myself to be the creator for now since PixelHunter is inactive but anyone more interested than me in just making a chart?"

Lusamine [Jan 22 11:11 AM]:   I am just currently bumping topics that can still have discussion, because I am locking or deleting the ones that can't.
Lusamine [Jan 22 11:11 AM]:   It's just a coincidence that they are all mine then.

I would be interested, but I think Sky should have it instead.

Unless if he changes his mind.

Took a few different tests from different sites, including this one
(got INFP on this), but the rest of my tests gave me E instead of I

Got a mix of results but got ENTJ twice (which is the most) so I guess go with ENTJ (Commander) :-X
Gotten Turbulent for all of them as well

Title: Re: Spirit Snackimals
Post by: Abu on January 23, 2018, 03:11:32 PM
There are some people who are a multitude of other personalities. It's obvious that you would get this, because there is no one way to group people accurately. Some people, such as myself, are quite clearly and predominantly follow one type and one type only. In my case, this is INFP. If I took this test I would probably get that same result, or ENFP, since I am more of an ambivert.

Title: Re: Spirit Snackimals
Post by: Abu on January 23, 2018, 03:19:56 PM
I got what I expected.

INFP
63% Introverted
94% Intuitive
85% Feeling
78% Prospecting
88% Turbulent

As you can see, the only one I come even remotely close to being possible to shift in is being an extrovert.

Title: Re: Spirit Snackimals
Post by: IHobbes on January 23, 2018, 04:09:06 PM
I am also an INFP. I got it every time I took it. I think it describes me really well also.

Personality type: “The Executive” (ESTJ-A)
Individual traits: Extraverted – 56%, Observant – 65%, Thinking – 57%, Judging – 72%, Assertive – 65%

Title: Re: Spirit Snackimals

It's again ENTP but with a T instead was an A.

I'm 60% Extroverted, 58% Intuitive, 57% Thinking, and 88% Prospecting. I'm 67% Turbulent.

My previous result was assertive by a margin. I guess everything that's been happening to me latestly has made me lose my confidence.

Title: Re: Does people talking to you upset you?
Post by: Abu on January 24, 2018, 06:16:24 AM
I need human interaction for my daily life. However, if people are mean or not interested in my subjects of discussion I tend to become antisocial. Difficult to explain. Read the INFP guide for more.

Unlike most introverts, I do not get 'burned out' by talking instantly. It's more that I become hyperactive and awkward before burning out.

Turbulent Logician overall, as per usual
Nature trait is my least defined now though, used to be my second most defined. So that's interesting.
Also not >80% introverted anymore, which is probably a good thing.

EDIT: As for the original post, it is NT, NF, SJ, SP by David Keirsey, rather than NT, NF, ST, SF as Katherine Myers wanted (or almost every MBTI fan across the Internet). They were separated like that, because of today's and previous days' stereotypes.

It seems like people on this forum are very middling in general. Maybe it's because many people are still adapting to their personalities as teenagers. On other sites or in real life, most people lean towards a certain type or two by a large amount. On here, it is more common to see examples like Leia or KitKatExtreme where nearly every single percentage is under 70%.

I'm the type of person who would feel bad for people and offer emotional support but i would def try to give the ways to manage the problem. I also try to make logical decisions and i don't think everyone's view has to be respected (think about Nazis and ISIS-supporters)

I am a contrast in that regard, I respect everyone and treat all people with kindness, in general. You have to be truly despicable to earn scorn from me, and take pleasure in killing or bullying.

I may dislike many of Trump's policies and his attitudes, but I do feel bad for the immense amount of stress he must get from his job. He may have dementia.

Okay, I mean, if you support some of Trump's views (besides the ones like "s***hole countries") about being pro-life/stricter immigration, I totally respect views.

I am talking about people who think stuff like ISIS/Holocaust are funny/cool. I have absolutely NO respect for those types of people.

They still have the same meaning.
In today's society, it's extrovert.
In psychology, it's extravert.

Makes sense. The newer version is from the U.S.A, while the psychological terminology came from Britain, probably. This is usual.

I was an ISTJ a few months ago.

Retaking the test, it seems that I am now INTJ or INTP (51/49 for the last letter). I guess it makes sense that I've changed since school started.

Truity and/or humanmetrics give more accurate results and better descriptions than 16personalities. Also, 16personalities doesn't go over the cognitive functions of the types. While there's no empirical evidence to validate the whole cognitive functions thing, it's still worth looking into.
