[Chapter 1 – You Really Are Insane! (Part 1/6)]

Summary: She was just a normal person. Now she has become something else. On top of all that, is she even in the same world and time? Her absence begins to stir up terror at home, as well...

This story revolves around a Flipline character, whom will be easily identified but not revealed until the second chapter.

Chapter 1 – You Really Are Insane! (Part 1/6)

My bed felt cold. It was quite hard, actually. It also smelled like earth.

Opening my eyes was difficult, as if they were crusted over. I also smelled lots of sweat. That was probably emanating from me. I thought I showered last night… I lifted my hands to rub my eyes.

I heard a metal chain sound reverberating through the room as I did this, and my wrists were held in the air abruptly, as if something was holding them back. Finally getting my eyes open, I looked at my right arm, dressed with my good ol’ anchor tattoo. Looking down to my hand I saw a thick, metal band tightly wound around my wrist. Following the metal snake attached to the band, I saw that it was welded in place into the wall. I tugged my wrists, trying to understand. Startled by realization, my eyes darted open wide and skimmed the dark room.

I was in a small, stone cell, like one of those in medieval times. The opposite wall was barred, and light emanated from the hallway outside.

W-what’s going on?... Why am I here? Do we even have old-looking cells like these in this day and age?

No, I mean did you changed somerthing BEFORE trying to load it for the first time?

No. However, I have done an overwrite with the same name but with the new backup files several times because I made a backup every time I wanted to stop playing. I didn't need to load the backup until yesterday, so maybe this caused it. Idk... I don't see why it would, though.

Hmm, I think it an error in the game and Matt should fix it, or..

did you changed it name someday?

I tried, but it doesn't actually change anything. No matter what the name is, the file is always the same file that it was saved as. In other words, if I changed the _day10 to _day32, it is still loaded as _day10.

Here's a message I sent to a Developer yesterday on the 13th of May, and I haven't gotten a response, so I'll post it up here.
I recently began playing Papa's Bakeria, and I've gotten to about day 32, or so (Don't quite remember). I came to play it again, and my save files on the browser were gone. However, I was okay with this since I saved a backup.  





But... It told me that the "Load Failed" and that it "couldn't be restored."  



I never deleted my history or cookies. I don't have anything that could, 'cause from what I've seen so far, only THAT one backup doesn't load. The backups for my other games work, and even those games still had the files saved on the browser. ._.  



The backup file is called: papasbakeria_backup_1.papa

Date last modified (In the file's Properties window): Yesterday, ‎May ‎12, ‎2016, ‏‎2:03:40 AM (Yes, I was awake, playing that early...)

Date created (In the file Properties's window): Sunday, ‎May ‎08, ‎2016, ‏‎5:54:17 PM

Previous versions: 5/10/2016 12:50 AM (Which is definitely not May 12.)

However, I do have other files named
papasbakeria_backup_Thundertail913_day10.papa and
papasbakeria_backup_Thundertail913_day2.papa
that saved with different names (which I don't quite understand why they're different from the next couple times I saved), and those load just fine. But I don't want those!

Did it my backup not save properly, or something?!?! I'm sorry, I just really like Papa's games, and knowing that so much progress won't load just makes me stress out.  ???

P.S. I apologize for all the reading I made you do. I just really need help. >n<
