I.. I don't have "habits"

Like, I literally have school half of the day and the other half is spent sleeping, using PC/phone, or going to tution. Oh, and I rarely do homework Tongue
What about daily chores and homework? They do that in Habitica too, you know...  Cheesy

Btw, the Halloween equipment's really cool, mages get to wear masquerade outfits!  Smiley

Habitica isn't useful for people like me Hmm
Could you define 'people like me'?

EDIT: If I do decide to change my party, I'll ask the leader of the party I join to invite you, forumers!

I'm considering changing to a new party since no-one in the party uses Habitica anymore. If you want to follow me, feel free to hit me up with a message here or on Habitica!  Wink
7  General / General Discussion / Re: Theory: Is getting 5 stars at the end of KCP almost impossible? on: September 13, 2017, 02:45:25 PM
And now Martha just reached 5 stars lately, and she's just struggling, I believe.
[recorded 3 hours ago, uploaded 1 hour ago due to internet connections]

To add, people will have a nerve to place them first to third. But...

Then calculate them. For example, Adriel has 39 Firsts, 11 Seconds, and 9 Thirds...
39 + 11 + 9 = 59 | (39 x 3) + (11 x 2) + (9 x 1) = 148
148/59 = 2.5084745762... which was his usual score.

Here's the case scenario.

2.75 - 3.00 = ★5 [12.5%]
2.25 - 2.74 = ★4 [25%]
1.75 - 2.24 = ★3 [25%]
1.25 - 1.74 = ★2 [25%]
1.00 - 1.24 = ★1 [12.5%]

This means Adriel has 4 stars overall.

There is like 12.5% chance of having 5 stars overall, yet it can be almost impossible because it depends on people trusting your back (includes people in real life), and/or it depends on one's skill level.
That's a pretty solid theory. Nice work on the math, I probably wouldn't even have tried Laugh

That's one of the things I admire about you, Lyka. You seem to be dedicated in everything you do on Flipline Forum, be it FCs, KCP or TWG.

Jack has 4 stars and i enter at KCP16
Wow, thanks for the input! That'll certainly come in handy in this theory/debate/debate about this theory. It also says that all 4 star customers have a chance of getting in... or so I hope.
8  General / General Discussion / Re: Theory: Is getting 5 stars at the end of KCP almost impossible? on: September 10, 2017, 11:42:43 PM
Actually, upon closer inspection, there is a very small chance that someone could regain their fifth star.
Suppose 25,920 people entered the contest like Tony said. If each of them submitted three customers, that's about 75,000 customers. (Note: it doesn't matter how many people entered the contest for this counter-argument to work, I'm just giving an example.)
If even 74,969 customers got down to four stars, that would mean only 31 customers would have five stars. Since there has to be 32 customers for the tournament to work, if only 31 customers have five stars, someone else would have to get the fifth star, regardless of whether or not anyone voted against them. So if that 32nd customer with 5 stars is Bob, and Bob goes down to 4 stars, then someone else that has four stars but more votes than Bob would have to take his place. Therefore, if the customer that replaces Bob is named Mike, then Mike wouldn't need a perfect score to get in the top 32.
That's assuming that 5 stars = top 32 tho.
Sorry about the bulky reply, and I probably did something wrong, but thanks for reading.
Hmm, that's a good theory. But I actually think the top 32 aren't the have 5 stars, just Matt and Tony's selection of the best 4 star characters (the hidden decimal, like 4.76).

However, there are some people we may able to contact on the forum to confirm whether or not top 32 have 5 stars, and that's Lyka (one of his customers got in) and Witch Cherry (her sister's customer got in). Maybe we could ask them? Well, I hope they see this post.

Unfortunately, it dropped down back to 4... and this theory shows that it mostly happens at early stages (day 1-2 ish), while for me it occured in the middle of the voting week. Oh well, I had fun with the 'bragging that I have 5 stars' Laugh (Maybe that will happen again but I'm not so sure. Other than that, keep voting, guys. Wink)
Impressive. It looks like people really liked your customer.
9  General / General Discussion / Theory: Is getting 5 stars at the end of KCP almost impossible? (DISPROVED) on: September 09, 2017, 05:05:02 AM
Note: this is just a theory.

If you were about to say "You're wrong! My customer had 5 stars once!" then I'd like to emphasize the fact that the title says, 'at the end of KCP'. So hear me out.

Recently we've always been hearing people saying, "Could you please help my customer regain his/her 5th star? I was so sad when he/she lost it..." However, I'd like to state that regaining the 5th star is impossible. I mean, show me 5 people who has had a customer regain their 5th star.

Okay, I know it sounds like all I have is the lack of 5th-star-earn-back-customer-stories, but the truth is, I do have more information to prove my point. That is, the connection between the star rating you see your customer have and the placing they are ranked by voters.

I've always been wondering how the two are connected. But when you think about it, you can see how it works. Let's assume that a 1st place vote gives you 5 stars, 2nd place with 3, and 3rd place with 1. Now then, if we look at a customer's stars (just saying, this is my customer Asha's)...

...we'll notice that it's the average. So unless your customer always had 1st place votes, you can't get 5 stars, because they'd average out if a single 2nd place vote is thrown in. This is the reason most customers have 5 stars early in the contest; there aren't many votes to average out from. Also, it explains why hardly anyone has 1 or 0 stars.

So what this means is, if your customer has 4 stars, great job! That's the best it can do!

Any rebuttals, or contradicting evidence you'd like to present to object to my theory? Feel free to start a debate here! Also, to keep this topic up for KCP, I'll vote for any KCP link posted here!

Vote my FCs here! Use your judgement: I don't mind if you don't vote my FCs as 1st, but it would be a great help if you do!

(And yes, I know my 3rd customer isn't that great, I rushed him this morning, he has heckin' one star for heck's sake, and no, I'm not using that tactic that someone used last year  Nervous )

Updated: Now he has 4 stars! Thanks, guys!  Grin

Here's my customers. Don't forget to speak up your mind: your (constructive) feedback is always appreciated!

(Note: I haven't gotten any good ideas for contestant 3 just yet)

FINALLY! My last entry is in! I've gone between three different character designs, and I must have sat there for at least two hours trying to figure out her bow/glasses color combo; thank goodness it's done.

Here's the link to my other submissions, if you want to check them out:

*Yes, I realize that I somehow subconsciously used that forest green/orange/white trio on two characters.*  blank
Wow, she has quite the charm! The mood and glasses give her quite the personality, and the colors match perfectly!  Shocked

Here are some of my customers   Cheesy
Wow, they look great! My favourite's Tanya.  Smiley

I just want to ask everyone's opinions again about my submissions for this year. Smiley

Jeongyeon looks really unique! She also conveys the K-Pop style you're going for, great job!
15  Community / Fan Characters / PixelHunter's KCP 2017 Entries! on: September 02, 2017, 06:21:08 AM
Hey there! I've been off of the forum for a while because, you know, life. However, I can't possibly resist the opportunity to participate in Kingsley's Customerpalooza! So without further ado, here are my customers for this year's KCP!

Here's Asha, returning from last year's KCP! As a fan favourite, a knew she should participate this year as well. However, you may notice a few tweaks: namely, the complete change from winter trekker to journalist. This is because I realized her old style was way too similiar to Hope's (which I didn't realize).

Anyway, some backstory: after discovering a passion for blogging about her mountain hiking hobby, Asha decided to become a journalist at the local media company. She especially loves assignments where she gets to interview new local startups and small businesses: she never ceases to be amazed by their ideas!

Tyrell A

Tyrell B

My proudest creation, Tyrell's an outgoing college student at day and an amateur DJ at night! He loves jamming out at raves and the local club, and when he's not the DJ, you're sure to catch him showing off his grooviest moves (and a little flirting). And when his classmates are down, grades or otherwise, his inspiring words are sure to pick them back up!

(Speaking of inspiration, two popular video game characters inspired his design: can you guess who they are? (Hint: one is from a video game released in 2016, and one is from a video game released in 2017. Also, none of the games are free))

By the way, which do you guys prefer? Tyrell A or Tyrell B? Vote here: (Yes, I know it's just the eyebrows, but in my opinion, his personality looks different, you know?)

-- WIP --

Still fishing for some ideas. If nothing great pops up into my mind, I'll use Cebelle from last year:

So, what do you guys think? Be sure to speak out your mind: If there's some thing you don't like, I'll consider changing it.
