Strange!  Is this for the Android, iOS, or Amazon version of the game?

And could you also let me know what version of the app you're using?  It should say the version on the title screen's Settings window.

Strange, it seems like it's something related to someone they added to their ignore list who has symbols in their name.  I'll try deleting anyone in their ignore list with symbols in their name to see if that helps...

Here you go:

Here's your link to share for your characters:

Since it seems like you don't have your progressed saved for your characters, you won't be able to see their star rating though.

I can explain.

While I was submitting my customers, the thing said "submitted". However, when I went back to the screen where your customers are shown, nothing showed, I guess it was a glitch. Anyway, I thought that my customers weren't submitted then so I went to another device and tried again, and there, it worked normally. That's it. I swear. I didn't  expect them to actually show up. I'm terribly sorry for this, I want you to know that I'm not trying to cheat I really do only have 3 entries. To take precaution, seeing that it worked, I tried entering Dawson and Kaira the first time.

I really swear I'm not cheating please believe me, I already explained in the other discussion

No worries!  I marked your first two entries to not count so they won't show up randomly anymore, so the ones in your link are your official entries now.

Hmm I'm not having that problem.... in that popup window for Settings, click the third icon with a folder, and it should say "Local Storage: Allow to store information on your computer?", and "Allow" should be checked.

Hmm that's really weird, Firefox had a bug with saving progress a while back but it should be fixed by now.  I'll upgrade my Firefox and see if that problem has returned!

Sure, here's their link:

Your entries are already submitted, you just won't be able to track their progress once voting starts.  If you submit them again, there will be two copies of the same characters, which may give them all a worse chance of getting very far in the contest.

Okay, I've removed those first three.
11  General / Help and Support / Re: Missing Flipdeck? on: October 08, 2020, 08:56:57 AM
Okay thanks, hmm when you save or share a photo is it able to save the Flipdeck image, even though you can't see it in the app?

If you're trying to use PLP for Customerpalooza, if you are able to save the images and if you email me the Flipdeck images, I can see if I can find what your PIN should be for entering them in the contest.

There are certain devices that can't handle the 3D effects well of the spinning card -- could you let me know what device you're using (brand and model) where this is happening?  And also what version of Android it's running?

You can give it a try, though I've heard from others in the past that it may lose your save data, so you won't have a link to share next week (though I can possibly make one for you if you let me know your creator name and all character names)
14  Community / Contests / Customerpalooza 2020 Discussion on: October 07, 2020, 10:34:37 AM
Kingsley's Customerpalooza 2020 is here!  Use this topic to discuss the contest, and to share photos of your in-progress customers to get feedback.  Since voting doesn't happen until the second week, we'll create another topic next week for sharing your links once voting starts.

The process for creating and voting is the same as the previous few years:

- You only create customers during the first week
- Voting starts on the second week, after all of the entries are received

During the second week, you'll get your link to share your customers:

- You have one link to share that includes all three of your customers
- The link will go to a "Vote" match where one of your customers is up against two other customers.
- After they've voted, another "Vote" match will include your second customer against two others, then another match with your third customer.
- If someone has already voted for your customer, either through a random "Vote" match or through your link, their vote won't count when they go to your link (but they can still see your customers).

This year we again have the feature where you can import characters from Papa Louie Pals by using your Flipdecks!  Save a Flipdeck of a Papa Louie Pals character, and transfer that image to your PC.  Within the Customerpalooza game page you can import that Flipdeck image when creating a new entry.  You'll need the PIN for the Flipdeck to prove that you're the creator of the character (and didn't just download someone else's Flipdeck they shared), so have your app handy and check the PIN shown in the bottom-right corner of their Flipdeck in the app.  You can't make any changes to the character or save them for later if you're importing from a Flipdeck, so make sure everything is exactly how you want it before submitting.

Good luck and have fun!
15  General / Suggestions / Re: Snuff Out the Proxies or No More Tournaments! on: September 26, 2020, 10:55:45 PM
As far as actual detectable proxies, there have been relatively few that we've found, but we do periodically adjust the results when we notice them.

If someone is using hotspots or multiple different public WiFi connections, I can't see any way we could actually detect something like that, since all of those IP addresses are legitimate regular addresses and not proxies.

And I've noticed people in the comments just blaming proxies whenever the votes for a customer they don't like goes up  Nervous  Sometimes the sudden "surge" in votes is just when it happens to be morning in a different region of the world, or everyone is getting out of school at that time in that region or something.
