1  Apps / Papa's Donuteria To Go! / Possibility to synchronize? on: September 14, 2019, 06:06:29 AM
Hi,

since now To Go! apps are universal, for both phones and tablets, is it possible to synchronize progress between those devices? I have iPhone and iPad, I normally played To Go! on phone and HD on tablet, but now there is only one app and it would be nice, if it was possible to synchronize progress between those.

I suspected that answer would be something like this. Anyway, thanks for the answer Wink

No one knows?

Hi,

I'm currently playing HD apps on iPad (2018 year generation) and I noticed, that there is no multitouch in those game. I also have most of To Go! games on iPhone and there is multitouch. For example, in Hot Doggeria, on iPhone I can boost multiple sausages, on iPad I can only one. Or in Taco Mia, on iPhone I can boost frying meat and in the same time I can cut other meat, on iPad I can't.

My question is, is game engine somehow limited, that it doesn't allow to use multitouch, or maybe I just should somehow enable this option in iPad?

Without multitouch, having multiple boosters is kind of pointless, when you can use only one at a time.

I play using Nox, the only problem is, sometimes when you mess up with configuration, HD games don't appear on Play Store, only To Go versions, and there is no point of buying To Go in emulator, as you can buy them on phone.

HTML5 is on for the replacer role, but Flipline guys won't be capable of rewriting their data onto HTML5 or so. However, I do hope so too.

This, or for Oracle's Java to step up. There are games I play that require Java instead of Flash, maybe because they need to be downloaded I guess

As Java developer I must say, that apart from Minecraft, there are almost no significant games, that are written in Java, Java is mostly used for business applications. Java plugins for web browsers are not supported anymore (only IE supports at the moment), as applets (Java applications for web) where very nasty and not safe (I worked using them, so I know what I'm saying).

Maybe you meant JavaScript, which is not related to Java. Then I think it's not a problem, JavaScript is very widely used in any web applications.

And about HTML5 games. Those are not written directly in HTML, as HTML is only markup language, that says what's on the page. Games are rather written in JavaScript, and then using HTML inserted into page.

Well, that's a good point.

Well, they're still almost identical, for example Cupcakeria To Go and HD - both are about making cupcakes, but To Go is for small devices, and HD is for bigger devices - they have small differences. It only depends on buyer, if buyer wants to play on phone, tablet or both. If buyer just wants to play game on one of those platforms, then buying both is pointless.

About updating apps - ok, I understand, but refreshing apps that are already created and bought by people is something, that almost every developer does. Let's have for example Angry Birds franchise or Doodle God games. First versions were small, but creators created new games and also developed older games. I hope you know what I mean. Of course, I understand, it's hard to compare Flipline and Rovio in terms of people working, but I just want to point what I mean.
9  General / General Discussion / Some question about Holidays in Apps on: October 17, 2017, 12:23:59 PM
Hi, I have some question about Holidays in HD Apps (as I bought only HD apps).

First thing, I noticed, that out of 7 HD Apps, 3 of them don't have Holidays. Are there any plans to add them in future? Freezeria HD and Burgeria HD look rather "obsolete" when comparing to newer ones.

Second thing, while reading Wikia articles, I noticed, that there are some holidays different in HD version and To Go! version.

For example, in Cupcakeria To Go! there are Big Top Carnival and Comet Con, while HD has Sugarplex Film Fest and Maple Mornings.
Similar in Taco Mia. To Go! version has BavariaFest and Big Top Carnival, while HD has Portallini Feast and Cherry Blossom Festival.

Why those Holidays differ in To Go! and HD version? Wouldn't it be better, if it was consistent and both version have same content? I'm just asking out of curiosity, maybe it was explained somewhere in Forum or Blogs, but it'd be hard to find, as there is a lot of content there to search in.

Well, I found workaround, I think it's totally legal. I bought game in Google Play, so creators got paid, then I installed Android Emulator, and inside it I installed game from Google Play (which I paid for earlier) - that's also legal.
I can play without problem either on touchscreen on my Windows tablet (which is a bit poor in terms of performance, but works), or using mouse on my PC. Game works with mouse very well, so I think there wouldn't be problems, if someday creators decided to port HD games to desktop PC games (someone pointed out in another topic, that there could be problems with mouse when porting game from tablet to PC, but it's rather easy, it's more difficult to port PC game to tablet, where it's problematic to port right mouse click in touchscreens) - and when I use "desktop PC game" phrase, I don't mean web flash game, but normal standalone application for PC.
11  Apps / Papa's Pizzeria HD / Windows Store version? on: October 08, 2017, 02:12:20 AM
Hello,

I've been looking on this forum and I noticed some questions about desktop versions, Steam, but I didn't notice anything about Windows Store.

I totally understand not remaking games in Flash, as it's dying technology, or avoiding Steam, but what about Windows Store in Windows 8 or 10? I have iPhone, so I can play To Go versions, but personally I'd prefer to play on bigger screen. I don't have iPad, and I don't have plans about buying it, the same with Android tablets. But I have HP Pavillion x2, which is detachable laptop with touchscreen, with Windows 10 installed, so if there was version for Windows Store, I could buy it and play it on this device.

So my question is, is it possible to create version of HD Gamerias for Windows Store? Or there are some circumstances that are blocking?
