You can pronounce it however you want    We were just basing it on the Filipino pronunciation, which is where that name is most commonly used, and where they pronounce it luh-ZELL where it rhymes with gazelle.  There are a few singers or actors named Liezel in the Philippines, if you check out some YouTube videos with them you can near the native speakers saying "luh-ZELL" there when talking to/about them.
