Matt said they were trying something new and not revealing a new holiday
I think that's weird, because Sushi Mia had literally no new features. The sneak peeks were Sakura Bay, New Customer, New Clothing, Chef Outfits, Cook Station, Build Station, Tea Station. No new features anywhere, there's room to add a holiday sneak peek imo
They didn't release a holiday sneak peek because they wanted to have the game released before the end of 2016 to celebrate their 10-year anniversary. |

They chose to cut out Holidays
1. To me, it seems that all of the other sneak peeks were more important. 2. With the Super Custom Clothing sneak peek (which by the way is a pretty big feature), they somewhat tell us that holidays will be in the game. 2.5. We should all know by now that new games will have holidays. 3. We do need some surprises when we first start playing the game. After all, we don't want to be shown everything via sneak peeks, or else there would be no real fun in playing the game. |

What I want is for them to have a gameria where they replace all the usual holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas with either new holidays or older holidays that only featured in 1 or 2 games.

No. I don't like it when people remove Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and Valentine's Day for the sake of just removing it. Especially like "Winterfest" or "Love Carnival"
