For Apple and Amazon it just automatically happens at midnight (I think Pacific time, but maybe it's Eastern). Google still doesn't have any way to schedule a release date, so we have to do it manually --- and it may take anywhere from a minute to 3 hours for Google to actually release it after that, so we do it a few hours early just in case.
By how the apps were released at my time (Pacific), I'm really guessing it's Eastern. |
