I have to get a cavity removed in a few weeks. I wasn’t that concerned at first, but after reading Bassettt’s story about the numbing shot, and remembering that the appointment involves a numbing shot...

Yeah, I remember getting braces and I had an extra tooth so I was booked in for an appointment to remove the tooth. I got the numbing shot injected on my gum and it freaking hurt! (as expected...) The entire time, my top lip felt numb and it feels as if it swelled up. Lemme tell ya, it was not fun at all. Had to drink my tea with a straw because I just couldn't feel my top lip =^=

Don’t be too concerned, I have a lot of experience with getting cavities filled, the shot hurts but not that bad. The toe shot went straight into my joints and stuff and was a nightmare, the dentist shot is not nearly as bad |
