Yes he did drop out of grade school, but ended up going to college when he was only 16 and eventually earned a PhD in physics when he was 26.
Yea I think he dropped out of school. I also think he didn't study maths in school either.
You can't get a degree in physics without taking math. Pretty much every science requires you to take math classes up to calculus 2 except biology. Physics is basically math, the only difference is you have to understand some scientific concepts in order to solve the problems.

Another interesting fact about Albert Einstein is that he told President Harry Truman that it would be impossible to make an atomic bomb, but as we know we (USA) dropped two atomic bombs on Japan during World War II.
