When Flash dies in 2020, will Flipline make their 15th, 16th, 17th, etc. gamerias as apps?

What about the 14th? I'd guess that a secondary reason that this 14th game is taking so long is because they're working to make it an app as well.

I'm starting to feel like there will be something to replace flash by 2020, like something even better ofc. You hopefully if there is something by 2020, we could still be playing stuff on PC.

I really hope Flash stays anyway.

HTML5 is on for the replacer role, but Flipline guys won't be capable of rewriting their data onto HTML5 or so. However, I do hope so too.

This, or for Oracle's Java to step up. There are games I play that require Java instead of Flash, maybe because they need to be downloaded I guess

Dear folks, thanks to everyone who voted for and supported my FCs in this year's KCP. I'll be back and I hope to dominate before Flash will be no longer supported!

Best of luck to Amy and lots of hugs to the rest,

Sorry for bumping this topic, but by the way when flash dies, you can still play the games. However, you can't play them in your browser; you will need 3rd party programs (which is why most devs won't be creating flash games anymore).

For example, you can use ffdec to edit flash games, but also to just play them.

As Java developer I must say, that apart from Minecraft, there are almost no significant games, that are written in Java, Java is mostly used for business applications. Java plugins for web browsers are not supported anymore (only IE supports at the moment), as applets (Java applications for web) where very nasty and not safe (I worked using them, so I know what I'm saying).

Maybe you meant JavaScript, which is not related to Java. Then I think it's not a problem, JavaScript is very widely used in any web applications.

And about HTML5 games. Those are not written directly in HTML, as HTML is only markup language, that says what's on the page. Games are rather written in JavaScript, and then using HTML inserted into page.
