Burger patties should be cooked to these levels in the next update to Papa's Burgeria, for example:

Rare (15 minutes)
Highly Overcooked (1 hour)

A. They have pretty much never updated any of their old games. "The next update" doesn't exist.

B. Having to wait 15 minutes to an hour to cook a burger would make the game extremely boring.

No, because I wouldn't wait for a hour to cook a well-done patty, it would overheat the system though

Who would wait one hour for a burger. I think patties are pre-cooked and just need to be grilled not to be raw. And this takes around 20 minutes the most
