How does that stop Miller gaming
What happens if the Necromancer role doesn't relay all of the messages, is that against the rules?

It prevents miller-gaming issues by not automatically confirming the revived role, as it is not announced. A wolf can claim to be a dead person being hosted by the medium, the same way they would claim as any other blue role.
It will not be automatically against the rules to not relay messages, but in a lot of cases it would be considered gamethrowing and would be against the rules.

instead of drastically changing an old role until it's essentially unrecognisable, make a new role

I don't like the idea of only being able to post or PM what someone tells you to.

Angakkuq and Necromancer work. They are not extremely overpowered as long as the wolves are decently powerful as well. In Theory of Everything the wolves at enot particularly powerful, while the blue roles are even without a revival role. This is why I suggested having five wolves or removing the Necromancer.

What's the problem with five wolves? The humans are OP regardless. Plus, it gives Harrington a chance to play.

5 wolves honestly might not work out. I think it will, but TWG C is already a very experimental game. We don't want to mess it up more than we have to.

Good point. Then Dostoevsky's Exile will remain the testing ground for that.

Well if we are looking for new roles, Warden would work decently but you already have an investigator role and the rolelist should seek to be as unique as possible. No lynch-related roles - a buffed Tide Chimer would work here.

Something like allowing the Tide Chimer to take everyone's votes that have not been used yet for the rest of the day, once in the game. This gives it more usage because currently at best it gets 2-3 extra votes...and can only use the ability once.

Don't like the idea of having Warden with Guardian, if they find each other then town can basically just win through the miller-game.

new thing I did for TWG C in case we do Sprite Medium

Spirit Medium: Can revive 1 player in the game at the cost of their own life; the revivee is unannounced. However, the Spirit Medium would be allowed to post and PM ONLY what the revivee sends them; any posts or PMs that the revived target wishes to make must instead be PMed to the now-dead Spirit Medium, who will be given the exception of being able to post and PM for the revivee.

What do yall think of this?
Imo this seems really, really inconvenient. You would need to stretch the day/night cycles out or have a really devoted and active person be revived, otherwise it wouldn't really be worth it. At this point, just make a Medium that can revive a dead player's power- so this new Medium get's the dead player's results (if they were a power role) and can now use their power.

Ex. Lusamine died. Lusamine was Seer. Somehow, Nickito the New Medium has found out that Lusamine was seer. New Medium decides to revive Nick's power. New Medium now has Nick's past seering results and can now seer in future nights.

It's just a town sided Amnesiac, essentially.

Also- do we have a policy for what to do if a Necro/Agakkuaq/Town-aligned revival role tries to revive a Neutral role? (Assuming that there is no gamethrowing involved and the Town-aligned revival role legitimently thinks that the Neutral role was town and worth-reviving)

I'd say it's not very inconvenient. The revived leaves messages when they're online, the reviver posts messages when they're online.
