Spoiler: Fair to say Sayori's of all. She's more or less the one you make the deepest connection with first due to the narrative, regardless of which route you end up going. It's also the first one before the horror aspect kicks in. Also the feeling of "the childhood friend" to be the first to die well, it just makes it a lot harder for it to sink in. Natsuki's just... happens - you never see it actually happen I think. She gets deleted by Monika when she finds out Yuri's dead and runs away so we do not know what actually happened - at least that is what I believe. However, it does somewhat jumpscare you when she does it, I don't know, maybe it was her death, but then why do we still um, see her later on? Yuri's comes somewhat out of nowhere but isn't too surprising if you pick up on the hints given while Sayori was still alive, alongside Portrait of Markov's spoilers. It's definitely scary but I do want to say she has a lot more build up towards her death than Sayori. It is scarier when you are left with her dead over time though, something you don't see with Sayori, but hers hits home a lot more. |
