Hot take of the week
There's a reason why All I Want For Christmas Is You has been at the top of the Christmas canon ever since its release - it's one of the VERY few Christmas songs that still doesn't sound horribly dated (and is actually good). I might slightly prefer the Wham song, but that's entirely down to taste and I get why Mariah has the festive season on lock to this day.
I don't think that's a hot take, a hot take would be thinking AIWFCIY is a terrible song and one of the worst of the already Christmas genre (that's my take). |
