I regret asking now
You should've seen it coming. 8)

In all seriousness, I'm intrigued to see how the top 50 progresses, even a few months from now. I think Kendrick could reclaim #1 if his next album is at least as successful as DAMN.

Whoa, rap seems to be dominating the top 100 chart. Definitely not my cup of tea. What's with 2018?
Also, radio stations here prefer Maroon 5 or Ariana Grande.

Radio stations typically prefer pop songs, but some rap songs get in. Rap is more popular via streaming.

This week's top 10:
1. Ariana Grande - thank u, next (=)
2. Halsey - Without Me (=)
3. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You (+4)
4. Travis Scott - SICKO MODE ft. Drake (-1)
5. Post Malone & Swae Lee - Sunflower (-1)
6. Panic! At the Disco - High Hopes (=)
7. Marshmello & Bastille - Happier (-2)
8. Bobby Helms - Jingle Bell Rock (+5)
9. Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (+2)
10. Burl Ives - A Holly Jolly Christmas (+2)

- This was a pretty chaotic week since it's the final flow of Christmas songs. I believe about a quarter of the entire Hot 100 were Christmas songs.
- Not only this, but a bunch of the songs changed places, resulting in It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year going down
- Pretty much all of these songs are hitting their peak now, often up to 50 years after their debut.
- Next week will be chaotic too since all of the Christmas songs are dropping off. This will probably result in GLY hitting the top 10 again, as well as ZEZE & Drip Too Hard
- 21 Savage also flooded the top 100 although I doubt any of the songs will stick.
- Despite all of the Christmas craziness, Sweet But Psycho still managed to go up on the Hot 100, and it (as well as Nothing Breaks Like A Heart) will likely hit the top 50 next week.

lmao what is the universe at this point

This week's top 10:
1. Halsey - Without Me (+1)
2. Ariana Grande - thank u, next (-1)
3. Post Malone & Swae Lee - Sunflower (+2)
4. Travis Scott - SICKO MODE feat. Drake (=)
5. Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes (+1)
6. Marshmello & Bastille - Happier (+1)
7. Maroon 5 - Girls Like You feat. Cardi B (+7)
8. Lil Baby & Gunna - Drip Too Hard (+4)
9. Kodak Black - ZEZE feat. Travis Scott & Offset (+6)
10. Post Malone - Better Now (+13)

- All the Christmas songs are gone now, Mariah Carey's song was the highest Hot 100 drop off of all time
- GIRLS LIKE YOU IS BACK IN THE TOP 10afdjkflasjfklsajgklah. They are on track to set a record for most weeks in the top 10 apparently.
- Better Now is back in the top 10? Laugh I honestly like it more than most of the top 10 and I'm not even a Post fan.
- Can we please get rid of the entire 2nd half of this list though
- Eastside is at 11th, good chance at top 10 next week.
- Wake Up In The Sky is 12th, Wow. by Post Malone is 13th and Money is 17th. They probably have the best shot at hitting the top 10 out of the top 20.
- Baby Shark top 40 why
- Sweet But Psycho is #41, top 20 could likely be within the next 2 weeks.
- Nothing Breaks Like A Heart is top 50

- With the Christmas stuff gone I'm voting for Sunflower, it's not a great song but it's grown on me a bit, can we have Eastside in the top 10, it's at least better than all 10 of these
- Wake Up In The Sky, Wow. and Money are awful songs, I'd take the current mediocrity over any of them tbh
- I don't imagine top 20 just yet for Sweet But Psycho or Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, but maybe what little taste America has left will prevail and make these songs skyrocket, an oofis can hope right?
- Pretty much every other relevant country has put Ava at the top (except Australia because for some damn reason Sunflower is massive there), so if it flops in the States I'll take what I can get
- Seriously though, can I get a witness for all these random bleep Billie Eilish songs floating around the bottom of the hot 100, some of which are from as far back as 2016? I don't understand the hype at all

I've listened to Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition many times and it's one of my favourite rap albums. It's really weird and reminds me of 90s rap.
