I used to have an Fc named Valentina. I say ‘used to’ because she has a very similar color scheme as Almei’s Valentina and the same name. I don’t want to use my Valentina any more because people will just think I copied the more successful Valentina. I’ve also been getting jealous of all the praise the other one is getting (though Almei deserves the praise) because I can’t get people on the forum to like most of my fcs no matter how hard I try. I feel bad being jealous because I don’t want to be like Daniel Delta. I just had to get that off my chest. I made my Valentina after Almei made his, after all, but I didn’t copy the other one since I had never heard of Almei or his fcs at the time.

Not gonna lie, I remember one time, before KCP, Almei posted Valentina for something I forget, but I actually paused and thought for a moment "Wasn't that Malo's FC?" because I hadn't ever seen Almei's Valentina before either, so it's not just you.

I'm sorry that you feel that way and believe you can't use your FC anymore though, it sounds rough, and I too sometimes feel like an obscure FC of mine looks similar to one that's gotten a lot of hype and recognition, though those cases are mainly for things like same color scheme.

Relax and no problems.
I recommend keeping the name, or giving her a new loving nickname because she must be a very interesting character.  But I would recommend thinking about a significant change in the color palette of your character in question.  When Mesa won last year, I had to change Thiago's style a lot because he had the same theme as the winner of KCP19 and I am relieved to change the red, orange and fire tones for purple, green and bubbles.  This can refresh your character

PS: In addition to the praise, I am also receiving criticism for some choices (read mustache necklace) that I made for this character.  And it's okay to not know my old story from 2013-2015.

First of all I know that this has an indirect side for me, and I will explain: There memes that when they are translated lose their charm.

Segundo: Não custa nada você abrir uma aba/aplicativo de tradução para entender até mesmo essa frase escrita em português(minha língua nativa). Eu utilizo desde 2013 e ela me ajuda muito em várias mídias sociais!
