think about it. this whole chapter has been building up to august's big redemption, but if he survives the challenge, this whole switching this was basically pointless. the only thing that would really propel the plot forward was if august ended up actually dying to save jay's life.
besides, ocean's whole possessed bloop has barely had any screentime yet, and it's something we can find out at literally any other point in the story. i find it very unlikely that august will survive the challenge.
The curse might transfer to August. |
