If I transfer data from one phone to another, will it also transfer my progress?

Most likely. There isn't any backup system though. I'm sure if you did a system transfer you'd have everything.

I'm pretty sure your progress isn't transferred, which would include things like scenes and characters in Papa Louie Pals too
