Actually, sadly coinless challenge is impossible. I've tried and as much as I know, the first level has a not-so tall opening, which makes you forcibly collect the coins, if you ignore that rule for now, even making precise jumps over the coins are near-impossible. the character's speeds are just a bit too much, and their hitboxes are sorta big for collecting coins.

How about
Can you Complete PL2 while using only certain types of weapons?
Such as Melee (I.e. Kahuna's surfboard or Scooter's Skateboard)  so this means characters like Taylor and Cap Cori can't be used due to them being under Whip weapons, Or Thrown weapons.(sorry Ranged weapons...)
Rules:
You can only use characters with certain types of attacks.
Level 1 is a exception to this rule the FIRST time you play the level. That way, Taylor and Prudence are useable for the Whip and Thrown challenges respectively.
You can rescue characters with different weapon types, but only use the weapons with the Weapon type you're using. (I.E. rescuing Sarge Fan as a Melee character, when he's a Throw one.
Have fun!

Currently beat level 5 for the Thrown Weapons only challenge. I have 14 out of 24 warp tokens needed to beat the game. If there's a regular challenge up until the final boss, I would have 18. For the Ground Pound challenges (if theres four of them) I'll have 22 out of 24.
The main problem I'm having with the challenge is that (based on my progress so far) There's only two characters you can use: Prudence, who you'll only use for the non-skill based challenges in Level 2.
And then we have the only character available with a skill (so far): Big Pauly. Like I said before, I have 14 Warp Keys so far.
Will Update on progress once I stop procrastinating.

I finally beat it with Throwing Only weapons! Here's some notes:
Level 8 is a pain in the butt
Complete Lvl 8 with Big Pauly AND all Radish coins to save some time doing the Wall-jump challenges with Sarge Fan.
Sarge Fan's weapon is...
bad...

I almost got wrecked by a Pepper Jack in Lvl 6 with SF.

I beat Radley with BP, 'cause I liked his weapon the most from the 3 characters that I could use  Nervous
AND...
the end

Thanks! I could get a higher completion % via badges and the other Wall Jump stuff, but other than that, there's not much more you can do for this challenge (since the other only throw character I think u can unlock is Rico, but he's really only BP but a little better.

For those wondering, I beat the game with 53% completion (includes badges AND Warp Coins)

Thanks! I just realized I can use Rico for the Push a Boulder challenges, and maybe unlock X Zone rip my Insanity.
