Bio: Shelby is a young woman with an intimidating exterior yet big heart. She spends her days doing commissions for her spray-paint art, a medium she has mastered and will always have a special place in her heart. Shelby has always loved colored aerosol sprays, but this would often get her into trouble in her youth. Her family lived in the ghettos of Oniontown, where crime was rampant. Her frequent misuse of spray paint led to her receiving numerous warnings, citations, and juvie sentences; Shelby never learned until one fateful day, when she had turned 18 and visited Tastyville and decided that the exterior of the Anderson family mansion needed some “details”. Witnessed by a then-young Macy, Shelby faced charges pressed by the Andersons and, due to both her age and repeat offenses, would be tried as an adult. Shelby attempted to become a fugitive, but this would only result in her evading the law for a measly two days (her story would later be featured in a segment of the popular crime show I (Nearly) Got Off Scot-Free¹ after her prison sentence). She received five long years in Oniontown Correctional Facility, where she was subjected to cramped prison cells (which served to exacerbate her claustrophobia) and abuse from both other prisoners and the corrupt prison guards. Upon release, Shelby sought to reform herself by attending classes at a community college and speaking to at-risk juveniles about the harsh realities of a life of crime. Nowadays, Shelby is out of parole and has many friends; she thoroughly enjoys her life free from the clutches of graffiti. Once during her stay in prison, while working in the prison shop, she secretly forged a metal bracelet with the words “Have Hope”, which she uses as help in moral guidance and never takes off.

Bio: Colby is a laid-back party-loving teenager from the sweltering town of Toastwood. His outgoing charm means that he is most guys’ friend, and although he is not the best bet for help with school assignments, he always manages to find a way to lighten up the room. While most guys love to hang around him, girls are sometimes put off by his flirting (he still has yet to get a girlfriend); thus, Colby has been the victim of plenty of slaps to the face. Despite this, he is really good friends with Shelby—in spite of the age difference—and has tons of respect for her since he sees her as a role model. Although he is typically among the more laid-back teenagers, he can be serious when the situation requires, like when someone is in serious danger (guys often know something dangerous could happen when Colby suddenly goes serious). Colby’s future lies in being a mechanic; he can take a car apart, name every part, and put it back together functionally. He excels in vocational classes in automotive repair, one of the only classes he gets constant A’s in, at Toastwood High School and he works as an apprentice at his father’s garage.

Bio: Ever since she was a little girl, Paulina has been interested in helping out her mother or her grandfather Youseph in the kitchen. Although it was soon apparent that Paulina did not have the magic cooking touch her elders possessed, she tried her hand at serving the dishes instead and soon became a natural. When she turned 16, Paulina, with the help of Youseph, got her first paying job as an enthusiastic and gregarious server at Papa’s Pastaria. Ever since, the patrons hope that whenever they stop there to eat, they are greeted by Paulina’s cheerful attitude. In addition to her kindness, Paulina also has her impeccable beauty going for her, which she obtained genetically from her gorgeous mother. Although she still loves helping out with meals, she has also become obsessed with cosmetics and spends plenty of time each day in the bathroom applying make-up to enhance her beauty. This is not to mention how she is also in the running for Best Dressed come her senior year at Portallini High School. At night, Paulina likes to stroll down the peaceful, canal-lined streets of Portallini and sometimes, with the tips she makes from serving pasta, purchases little trinkets from the many small shops.

Bio: Azaleah is a stylish young party-loving girl who is always ready for a night out on the town (more specifically, partying the night away at The Ghirardelli, owned and operated by her older sister Natalie). Her lifestyle is very expensive, but she can easily afford everything due to her high paycheck and generous tips from working as a barista at The Ghirardelli, the very nightclub she frequents, as well as occasionally borrowing from Natalie’s fortune. Azaleah loves her job, and has made her experience more enjoyable by getting around via roller skates and wearing a cute custom uniform. Although prone to a love of partying, Azaleah is, overall, a kind person who acts as a moral compass to help keep Natalie's avarice in check at times. For both her kindness and talent, she receives a lot of praise, but this has the unintended side-effect of draining her enthusiasm when she does not live up to expectations. Although not very picky, she likes fancy alcoholic beverages such as champagne and margaritas, and is practically a connoisseur.

Bio: Reginaldo is the proud owner of Portallini’s spick-and-spiffy Ricotta Inn. Every day, after his morning routine, he manages both his employees and the daily going-ons of his hotel and will bend over backwards to guarantee everything goes smoothly every second of the day. This extreme dedication made the inn the most popular during the severe influx of tourists brought on by the famous Romano Wedding, leading to a huge surge in profits. However, Reginaldo’s amazing upkeep of his establishment is not solely due to a desire for monetary gain; in fact, the main reason his hotel is constantly spotless is due to his Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This has affected Reginaldo throughout his entire life (and is part of the reason he likes square-like shapes), and although he takes medication to lessen the effect this infliction has on his day-to-day life, he may be put on the edge if certain parts of his daily routine are not fulfilled (especially if he forgets to take his medicine). Reginaldo is good friends with Priscilla’s father, so when Priscilla visits the Ricotta Inn, Reginaldo takes extra care to make sure Priscilla has a relaxing time (he even set up a pool at the inn partially for her, in spite of the increased maintenance requirement), so Priscilla almost always gives the Ricotta Inn a perfect rating.

Bio: As a young boy, Johanna (dead name Johann) Edelstein never felt comfortable in the body she inhabited. Although she was born a male, she felt internally as though she were female (she tended to like things that were commonly liked by females, such as dolls and dresses), but she had to hide this from her avidly conservative parents lest she face their wrath. When she turned 15 on June 2nd, she gained enough courage to come out to her parents, hoping they would at least try to understand, but neither took this well at all. After coming out, Johanna was abused throughout the following year as her parents actively forced her to adopt typical male traits, not allowing her to grow her hair as long as she liked and forcing her into blind dates with girls even though she was (and is) attracted to boys. One night, after finally standing up to her parents, Johanna received severe beatings from both her father and mother, which prompted her to run away when her parents were asleep, leaving her old life behind. For the next few weeks, Johanna crashed with Charlie, her best friend since kindergarten who was very kind and understanding, and her family. After some lengthy custody disputes which did involve, at one point, attempted arson brought on by Johanna’s father, Johanna’s new legal guardian became a close aunt who was much more accepting, and Johanna’s parents officially disowned her. Over the years, Johanna’s life has continued to improve: she is among the prettiest girls at Whiskview High School (even though there are the occasional bullies); sees her best friend Charlie more often; is working towards her dream career of working in cosmetics; and, during less favorable times, is able to listen to heavy metal bands such as Doom Brûlée, Osmius, and Eisenfaust¹ to soothe her nerves. Currently, she is taking female hormone pills to help with her transition, and she is also saving up for reconstructive surgeries. Johanna is truly grateful she now has the chance to be who she has felt her entire life.
