Most hospitals here are just able to help people with symptoms of covid. People are forgetting that covid-19 is not the only sickness just because it's a pandemic

In Poland there were thousands of situations in which the hospitals refused admittance just because "they were full of covid patients". One lady was supposed to have an operation that she waited for very long. But it was postponed just because of the pandemic.
Or for exampl,e the patient with a heart attack was dying in the ambulance but the hospital only cared about his covid test results.

This is happening across the entire world, not just Poland. COVID is first priority because it is an ongoing pandemic. This was, as far as I know, the case with other large pandemic events in the past too, like the Spanish Flu.
