I made this map. You guys may find it informative. The purpose is to calculate the fatality % of all cases in a given country; I only calculate it for countries with over 100 cases, because otherwise it's too small of a size and too variable to make any conclusions from.

The highest five, with the number of deaths in (brackets):

1. San Marino - 11.23% (21)
2. Italy - 9.86% (6820)
3. Iraq - 8.54% (27)
4. Indonesia - 8.02% (55)
5. Iran - 7.79% (1934)

The microstate of San Marino, surrounded entirely by Italy, has been the worst affected country. 0.56% of the country has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and 0.05% have died from it, higher than anywhere else in the world in both cases.

In the spoiler below is the full dataset I calculated for anyone interested. Again, countries with under 100 cases are not calculated.

Spoiler:

Yeah I update once a day, and then I reload the page and find it's already updated and the % are inaccurate for one country or another. This time (around 19:00-20:00 EST or 00:00-01:00 GMT) is the best time to update though if it's once a day because that's when the vast majority of countries have stopped giving updates. Usually a few US states and a few countries in LatAm will give them in the next hour or two, and then nothing for a few hours..before it all starts up again with Japan, China, New Zealand, South Korea, etc.

50 new cases in NZ just announced, total is now 205

Also worth noting that the USA is likely to overtake Italy as the country with the most cases soon

If you've heard, Trump wants to reopen the country for Easter.
