Calm down and actually study the trends.

China has been slowly reopening over the course of the past two months. New hotspots were identified multiple times; all were quickly controlled. Read up on the outbreaks that occurred recently in Heilongjiang, Shaanxi, and Jilin provinces before efficiently being taken care of.

China has not lost control over new cases again.

As much smack as I've given you over the past 3 1/2 years, in a world of fake news, you're a source that can be trusted.

I didn't know Florida was that bad. Grimace
Brother E: Our news here is. They tried to fake the death number in our city when we had no deaths at all in our city, not even any cases! Hmm
Our pastor met with our city's mayor and Sheriff Grady Judd and they said there were no cases here. But some news app our sister had said we had 53 deaths here.

Florida itself isn't that bad living here.

Brother E: Now I believe that is fake news they are using to scare people. If they start saying everywhere else is getting more cases, I'm not buying it. Bored
My dad is a statistician with a PhD and he says there is going to be a second wave. More and more people are dying and you're saying it's fake news? There's no massive conspiracy theory with the government and the coronavirus. There's no "they". It's not fearmongering, it's called informing people about the truth. Have you ever listened to a healthcare worker describe the situation that's going on? It's not getting better. Healthcare workers don't have enough personal protective equipment (PPE) and there aren't enough ventilators. If the president doesn't step up and do his job which he hasn't been doing for the past 3.5 years, we're going to have an even worse crisis on our hands.

When a country/state/city re-opens, the amount of cases will boost once again, want it or not. Maybe there won't be as many cases, but there will definitely be more new ones, and this has happened before, in previous pandemics.

It does make sense that if a country were to open up again, cases would jump, no? Like I don't know how that can be logically refuted.

Maybe coronavirus had to leave due to racist tweets?

Brother E: Countries have to reopen regardless. We can't put the world on hold for a year. If we do, the world will go into a economic collapse and many will be homeless.

Well, reopening too early will result in the virus continuing to spread.

Brother E: It's been two months, I think that's been long enough. Undecided

The number of cases is still increasing. If every country were to open now, it would be a disaster. The virus is nowhere near to being eradicated.

When do you think countries should reopen?
When the number of new cases consistently decreases over a two week period. Hopefully I'm wrong, but considering how rapidly everything is reopening a second outbreak seems inevitable.

The statistics say otherwise.
