Now that I think about it, the existence of humans could be proof that God doesn't exist. We have too many flaws, and God created humans according to what he thought was "perfection". Why couldn't he prevent Wars and global warming?
The thing is that, in this context, perfection means that we're made equal but unique and different from the others and cannot be repeated, this all includes our best and worst traits, because they make us who we are. As for the last question: Because God doesn't intervene in the making of our decisions and only guide us, we're the ones who decided to go into Wars when there could have been better options and global warming is entirely our fault.

Because of the original sin of humans, the world became flawed and broken. Even though it’s a sad world, it’s still His creation, so he has not given up on it. Yet, he won’t just magically fix all of the problems that are in the world Also, this topic is meant to be for people that want to talk about God without the looming threat of the eternal “God does not exist”... perhaps it would be best to continue that discussion in religion rather than here? I can say for everyone that we don’t really want to hear people’s arguments for why they think God does not exist in the topic where we talk about our experiences with God. Religion is a better topic for that, thank you

It would be great to hear more testimonies. So I will share with you one of my many testimonies:
After several years of praying my sister, she has made a great improvement in her behavior. She is no longer coming into our home swearing, making a scene over nothing and belittling us. During my middle school years it was really bad. It was to the point to where I did not want to have a conversation with her or if I did, I always held my head down. Every single time she came over there was always an argument. It would start off small and then it would escalate. And the arguments were mostly between my mom and her. She would also belittle me. She would say things like: "You're not that smart" "My daughter is going to surpass you in knowledge." "Your mother never lets you go out and experience life" That really hurt me because you would expect that your own family would be kind and understanding. And to add on to that, I was constantly bullied at school. At first my mother would engage in the arguments but then she sat down on the couch one day and said to herself: "Arguing with my daughter is not doing any good so... I am going to pray her and her situation." From the moment on she prayed constantly everyday for my sister to change her behavior. The change wasn't instant but we started to notice change once I was settled into High School. My second to third year of High School to be exact. And once I finally graduated out of High School, my mom and I had a brief discussion as to why sister behaved the way she did and my mother explained to me that she was going through many things in her life. And that the environment she was in caused her to become like that. I just wanted to thank the Lord for softening my sister's hardened heart. Yes, it did take some years but prayer does work. God hears us and he does what is best for us according to his will. We have to make sure we come to him with a sincere heart. Just like he changed my sister from being a mean person, he can change any situation around.
As stated above, this is just one of my many testimonies I have to share.
By the way, my sister is 16 years older than me.

I believe in God, and I have as much faith in him than everything else. God has actually made me survive through tough times like my family issues or just general incidents or problems. Reading the Quran actually calms me and puts all those thoughts, the negativity I have been lately having, out of the way.

Rachel: Well, what I do know is that because of you, this party will be a total disaster because the winner of The FC Games will be absent! Bethany: Don't put all of the blame on me! You are responsible as well! If I had seen a name spelled like O-W-E-H-N-N on your list, this party wouldn't be a disaster Rachel: You said what now? Bethany: Owen! With "H" and double "N" Rachel: Oh, Lord! You don't even know how his name is spelled! Bethany: Am I supposed to? Rachel: Yes! Bethany: I am sorry, I am not a denominator. Rachel: I am sure you don't even know how that's spelled either. Besides, Owen is a quite usual name nowadays. When I walk down the street, I can name at least 3 Owens at a time. Bethany: Then why didn't you invite one of them? Rachel: Because surname is such an important factor as well, you fool!
Not that I am stalking his FC topic or anything but anyway

For me, signs of God manifest themselves in small ways.
Here is one little anecdote.
I have only ever seen stray cats three times in my life; each time was the day before a major event in my life that caused me to self-reflect and become a better person. Each time, a black cat appeared first, followed by gray cat. All incidents happened at cemeteries; the first two were at the same one, even.
The black cats all disappeared out of thin air the moment I turned around, but the gray cats would sit, stare, and walk away.
To add on to this, the third time it happened was after I had explained to a friend about 20 minutes before how I have only ever seen stray cats twice in my life and because today was important wondering if I would see one again.

Brother E: In Christianity, numbers have importance as well. Like the three 6's in the devil's number, and 7 is the number that represents blessings.

Mystic, miss kitty and abu, your stories are amazing!! I felt especially inspired by Misskitty’s story about her little sister. It’s just incredible how she not only survived but is doing well and healthy today! God has answered all of your prayers, and I’m so grateful that you all could share your stories and inspire others as well. May you always be blessed by God
