Bio: Kakeru is an easygoing student living in sunny Calypso Island. Kakeru has always been interested in marine life and the ocean and has been scuba diving and surfing since he can remember. When he graduated high school, he knew he wanted to major in marine biology. He is very passionate about reducing the ocean's pollution and has attended multiple protests to spread awareness of it. Kakeru has a part-time job at Papa's Freezeria with Laelia, and enjoys making decadent sundaes with her.
Trivia:
- The kanji used for Kakeru's first name, 栗原, means "jumping over the ocean", which is why I chose it.
- Kakeru is to date my only monochromatic FC, using only shades of blue.

Her work at Shoe-Fly Co. has made just enough money to pay rent for her tiny apartment, but she enjoys meeting all kinds of different people that visit and work at the Whiskview Mall.

Bio: Najin Hwang as a child always enjoyed singing. From waking up her baby sister Minji when messing around with her family's old karaoke machine to singing her heart out at her school's choir concerts, Najin couldn't get enough. When Najin was in middle school, she was approached by a mysterious businessman on her way home from school. The businessman asked if she wanted to be a famous Kpop musician. An excited and naïve Najin immediately said yes. Under the begrudging approval of her parents, she joined the man's record label called Momoiro Entertainment. Najin trained for two years until she was approved to debut in a 5-member girl group called Bouquet with the stage name Zinnia. However, Najin, now Zinnia's dream was crushed when their debut album only sold 56 copies in an entire year. Bouquet were now in extreme amounts of debt at the hands of Momoiro Entertainment. After a year and a half, Bouquet were finally able to release a new song, thanks to Zinnia. Zinnia picked up a few modeling gigs after an agent saw her charisma when she was performing on stage. Zinnia was skeptical of the idea of modeling at first, but soon warmed up to the idea of being a model. However, in the end, Bouquet disbanded after their second single due to financial issues. Zinnia was still modeling occasionally and decided to join a modeling competition called Flipline's Next Top Model to get her name out there. Still going by Zinnia to honor her bandmates, she finished at 3rd place and transferred to Utatane Modeling, a substantially bigger agency after being asked to join it. Utatane Modeling has now grown to be one of the largest modeling agencies in the Flipverse. Despite her modeling high fashion brands pretty regularly, Zinnia enjoys thrift shopping to add some inexpensive clothes to her wardrobe. Zinnia and her bandmates are still very close, and always meet up on Bouquet's debut date.
Trivia:
- Zinnia is one of my oldest FCs in terms of when I made her, being made in early 2017.
- Zinnia's former record label, as well as her modeling agency, are named after some former usernames of mine.
- Zinnia being in a modeling competition actually happened. She was made for a sign-up forum game of the same name, where she also placed 3rd.

Bio: If you ask anyone at Maple Mountain's local high school who the most popular student in the whole school is, the response will often be Lukas Hjelmstad. Despite his very reserved personality, Lukas's strikingly good looks have netted him a contract with one of the Flipverse's top modeling agencies, which in turn made him one of the few celebrities in Maple Mountain. Even though he's almost never left alone at school, he has only a few close friends that don't exploit his popularity, one of which being a rebellious musician named Karisa. Karisa has a huge crush on Lukas, but he doesn't see her much more than a friend. Every morning on the weekends, Lukas flips pancakes, waffles, and French toast at Papa's Pancakeria, and it's not uncommon to have hordes of people in the Pancakeria just to see a glimpse of him. Lukas is a very busy teenager, but he always finds time to read his favorite webtoons.
Trivia:
- As said in his info, Lukas's hair is naturally blond, but his modeling agency wanted him to dye it charcoal black to "have a more unique look".

Bio: Esther is a very geeky college senior hailing from Burgerburgh. Esther is a huge fan of video games, anime, and manga, and has a hobby of making her own cosplays from scratch. She learned to make clothes from watching her mom, Roseanne. Even if Esther dedicates a lot of her time making and wearing cosplays, she tries her best to stay on top of her schoolwork. When not sewing intricate clothing or begrudgingly studying for exams, she fries wings at Papa's Wingeria.

Bio: When looking at the gallery in the Powder Point University of Arts, it's hard not to see Marshall's work! Being blessed with incredible artistic abilities, Marshall is very skilled with drawing, painting, and sculpting, making him an instant favorite student among his professors. He also has a Flipsy shop where he sells his work. With the hectic schedule of his studies and making art of all kinds for his shop, he can get very stressed. Said stress can make him quite short-tempered, but he tries to calm down if something irritates him. Marshall can be very overprotective over his younger sister, Rowan. Rowan is a little embarrassed that he sometimes treats her like a kid, but she's happy that he cares so much about her. When he has some free time, Marshall can often be seen catching a movie with his friends.
Trivia:
- Marshall and Rowan originally were part of a big family with 8 siblings, but I decided to shelf that concept and use it for a future FC, which eventually became part of Travis's bio.
- The website that Marshall sells his art on, Flipsy, is a parody of Etsy.

Bio: Rowan is an optimistic, albeit reserved girl from Powder Point. Rowan also has a bit of a sweet tooth, being sure to grab some donuts before school to share with her friends at Papa's Donuteria. After school, she has a part-time job as a cashier at the Glazy Gift Shop in the amusement park near her school. She is also an amateur photographer and has an Instaflip account where she posts pictures of sunsets, the amusement park, and more. Instaflip is also where she met her girlfriend, Keiko. Rowan has noticed that her friend and fellow amusement park worker, Cullen, has started to act strangely around her, but she hasn't thought anything of it.
Trivia:
- Marshall and Rowan originally were part of a big family with 8 siblings, but I decided to shelf that concept and use it for a future FC, which eventually became part of Travis's bio.

Bio: Considered by her siblings as the baby of the family, Minji is a friendly, but rather insecure teenage girl from the city of Tastyville. She has a bit of an inferiority complex due to her parents comparing her siblings to her, and her teachers and counselors at school pressure her to find a career that she wants to do when she's an adult. In her free time, Minji likes to play around with makeup, and likes to take pictures of the newest eyeshadow look that she's done. She's a little nervous to post it on her Instaflip account currently, so she mostly just sends them to her friends.

Bio: Apollo is an idealistic high school student from the heart of Starlight City. Despite his geometry teacher, Mr. Vaughan, embarrassing him in class frequently, Apollo is fairly popular in school. So far, Apollo is the only student in Starlight City High that knows Scott's Flutter account, and often pops into Scott's streams now and then even if he isn't much into video games. Apollo is also a huge fan of astrology and has an Instaflip account where he posts horoscopes. When he's done with school, Apollo gets a ride from Rory to Oniontown for his part-time job at Papa's Scooperia. Every night, Apollo goes stargazing, although it's a little hard to see them in the big city.

Arya is known as a very unproblematic and mature FlipTuber, and stays out of drama and knows when to be quiet when she needs to. Arya and her sister Selene aren't the closest, due to Selene living in Starlight City for four years, but they generally have a good relationship, and Selene sometimes appears in Arya's videos.

Bio: Rory, known as Mr. Vaughan at his job, is a laid-back geometry teacher at Starlight City High. He's known as one of the best teachers at Starlight City High by most of the students due to his engaging way of teaching and easygoing personality. Rory also likes interior design, and his classroom is always beautifully decorated. Although Rory isn't entirely a pushover, he has a hard time saying no to people, especially at his job, and he often has a few people in his classroom that go there to skip class. Rory was surprised when Roseanne got pregnant so young, but supported his younger sister regardless. Rory was overjoyed when Esther was born, and always babysat her when he was able to. Nowadays, Rory always gets excited whenever Esther and Roseanne go to Starlight City to visit.

Bio: In the graffiti-filled city of Oniontown, a series of murals stand out. Said murals are made by the duo of Travis and Leona. Since childhood, the two have been inseparable, and with their shared interest in graffiti as teenagers, they had started to sneak out at night to vandalize abandoned buildings. Even if they got in trouble with the law, they still continued making street art. As adults, they live together in an apartment, still doing graffiti together. When not making street art, her faithful Samoyed, Cherry, is by her side 24/7.

Bio: Having two wildlife conservationists as parents in the eco-friendly town of Sakura Bay, Thorold has always been in touch with the environment. When he was a kid, Thorold always had his hands dirty, helping his parents with their bonsai garden. When he finished high school, Thorold chose to attend Sakura Bay University majoring in botany. Once he graduated, he found a job as an apprentice botanist, and he's working hard to become a full-fledged botanist. On the weekends, he travels to Powder Point to work at Papa's Donuteria with a spunky girl named Kiera. They don't always get along, but they are generally a good team and get the job done well. When he isn't working, Thorold always makes sure to text or call his girlfriend, Ayesha.
Trivia:
- Thorold's style of clothing is based on mori kei, a type of Japanese street fashion.
- Thorold is named after a species of deer, which are a prominent motif in mori kei fashion.
- Thorold is a vegetarian.
- Thorold and Ayesha being a couple are loosely based on the tattoo parlor/flower shop AU trope in fanfiction.
- Thorold's scarf was crocheted by his younger sister Merle.
