Even more customers have arrived in New Pepperton to try the famous layered Papaccinos, so you’ll see some fresh faces along with your Mocharia regulars. Along with returning features like Daily Specials and helpful Score Detail breakdowns, this version adds new holiday ingredients, and introduces a Free Play mode with the Mocharia Food Truck!

Today is the day! Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors is here and ready to play!!

Fire up the forge and craft your finest weapons in Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors, a reforged adventure! As a determined donkey blacksmith, your journey takes you across the land — but treacherous monsters block the way. Rally the local warrior clans and equip them with custom-crafted swords, bows, shields and more in a completely hands-on blacksmith shop. Once your soldiers are armed, send them into battle to clear the path forward! While the warriors fight, you’ll gather loot and help out with your trusty cannon. Collect better ores and parts to forge even stronger weapons, and keep honing your craft as you push onward toward the ultimate showdown with the evil wizard Dudley!

Local warriors specialize in certain weapon types, but it’s up to you to craft the perfect weapon for the battle ahead! The forging process is entirely hands-on—choose your ore, select a weapon mold, then melt and pour the metal. Construct and hone the weapon before attaching various parts, ensuring it’s battle-ready for the awaiting soldier.

As you journey down the trail, you’ll unlock new weapon molds and encounter warriors skilled in using them. Your trusty assistant, Scout, will provide insights on upcoming monsters and their weaknesses, helping you choose the most effective weapons and parts for the fight. From swords and axes to shields and beyond, use your gathered materials to forge powerful gear and maximize your impact in battle!

Once the local warriors are armed and ready, it’s time to join them on the battlefield! As they wield your handcrafted weapons against the monsters blocking the trail, you’ll follow along in your blacksmith battle wagon, collecting loot from fallen enemies. The quality of your weapons directly impacts how far the soldiers can push forward, making your craftsmanship essential to their success.

But you’re not just a spectator—your trusty cannon lets you provide support during battle, with new cannonball types unlocking as you progress. If your troops fight their way to the end of the trail, you’ll be rewarded with powerful Epic Weapon Designs, giving you new blueprints to craft even stronger weapons for future battles!

The original game has been fully updated and optimized for widescreen and full-screen play, making Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors the most immersive way to experience the adventure!

One of the most useful updates is the enhanced Bookmark system:  When you bookmark an Epic Weapon design, the bookmarks are now color-coded by weapon type, making it easier to track the parts you need while crafting. Bookmarks also appear on metals and molds, helping you manage your inventory and streamline the forging process. Additionally, weapon parts will now indicate if they’re required for any Epic Weapon designs you currently have, whether bookmarked or not—so you’ll always know which materials to use and which to save for later.

While we count down the days, let’s talk about the last piece of the main gameplay: the Battle.

You’ve recruited your fighters and forged their weapons; now it’s time to see whether your craftsmanship can carry the squad down the road. Each stretch of the trail is peppered with enchanted foes, and every swing, slice, or shot will reveal how well you planned ahead.

But don’t get too comfy on the wagon. Even though you’re not shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the warriors, the battlefield is still your workshop. Gemstones, scrap, and all sorts of loot burst onto the ground mid‑fight, and it’s up to you to scoop them up before it’s time to move on.

Meanwhile, your mobile smithy isn’t just along for the ride. From the roof, Scout will unload the wagon’s cannon to tip the scales in your favor. As you advance, you’ll unlock specialized cannonballs that can turn a tight skirmish into a clean victory.

Craft wisely, match elemental boosts to your enemies’ enchantments, and your crew will carve a path to the treasure chest at the end of each route. Crack it open for a shower of coins, weapon parts, and designs for Epic Weapons that could redefine your next forging session.

In Jacksmith: Weapons & Warriors, every warrior needs a weapon—and every weapon a willing blacksmith; enter Jacksmith! Once the metal is poured and cooled in the furnace, Jacksmith refines each piece for the battles ahead.

There are six distinct weapon classes, each demanding its own craft. Swords and pikes are precision‑forged until their blades are razor‑thin.

Axes and maces require meticulous assembly of their cast‑metal parts before the heads are mounted on sturdy hafts.

Bows and shields call for specialized techniques—metal bows with locking hinges for tension, and shields that must be painted and emblazoned at the center.

It’s official — Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors will be released on May 13th, 2025!

While we count down the days, let’s take a moment to revisit the first step in the weapon crafting process: The Furnace.

Whether you’re crafting a sword, a battle axe, or even a bow, it all begins at the furnace. First, choose the mold shape you want to pour your molten metal into.

Then, select the type of metal you’d like to use for your weapon.

Once selected, the raw metal is dropped into the crucible to begin heating. Melting times vary depending on the metal, but you can pump the bellows to speed things up.

When the temperature gauge hits the green zone, it’s time to pour. Carefully pull down the green-handled chain to release the molten metal into the mold.

If everything is done correctly, you’ll have the foundation for a battle-ready weapon—fresh from the furnace.

It’s hard to believe it’s been over TWELVE years since the original Jacksmith web game launched! Whether you’re a seasoned veteran of the Plumpfeather Kingdom or a newcomer just arriving at the forge, we’re here to revisit the basics of Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors.

Each battle day begins with the familiar sight of Jacksmith’s trusty smithy wagon rolling into view. His loyal companion, Scout, dashes ahead to… you guessed it… scout the area.

Upon his return, Scout delivers a full report on the enemies lurking down the road. Not only does he identify each monster in the order they’ll appear, but he also warns you if they’ve been elementally enchanted by the great wizard Dudley. As he calls them out, a handy column of elemental icons appears, giving you a clear preview of the magical threats to come.

With the recon complete, Jacksmith sounds the signal horn, summoning all nearby warriors to the wagon.

One by one, fighters arrive — swordsmen, archers, shield bearers, and more — each ready to fight, but lacking the one thing they need most: a weapon. It’s up to Jacksmith to forge the perfect weaponry, tailored to each warrior’s strengths and fortified against the foes ahead.

As some of you may have spotted in the trailer, our warrior lineup’s gotten a bit of a shake-up. It’s something we’ve felt was missing ever since the web game was first launched—but now we’re excited to announce that women warriors are officially joining the battle!

Some clans, like the Cluckshire Brood and the Pigarius Legion, will now feature a mix of male and female fighters. Others, like the Oxdin Herd and the Capriloch Clan, will remain all-male. On the flip side, the Martello Flock and the Meadowguard have gone fully female!

With Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors, we’ve focused on bringing the classic game over to Steam, optimizing the gameplay and graphics for widescreen and full-screen play at higher resolutions. While the game itself will feel familiar to fans who played the original on the web, we’ve also been adding some quality-of-life improvements to make this the best way to play the game. Today, we wanted to talk about one of the most noticeable improvements: Enhanced Bookmarks!
 

For anyone that might not be familiar with the original game, as you play you’ll earn parts and recipes for special Epic Weapons, which you can then build for local soldiers to improve their chances in battle.

To keep track of which components were used in Epic Weapons, the original game used a Bookmark system so you could see which parts to use as you’re building (or which you want to save for an Epic Weapon later.) We’ve made a handful of improvements to how these Bookmarks work in Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors, so let’s see what’s changed this time:
 

Color-Coded Bookmarks

 
Bookmarks on the parts in your inventory are now color-coded for each recipe’s weapon type, matching the ribbon color you see on each Station as you’re working. This is especially helpful if you’ve bookmarked multiple Designs, making it easier to see whether a Grip was bookmarked for a Pike (in red), or if it was bookmarked for the Sword you’re building (in brown). In the example below, when you’re building a Sword, you’ll also see that bookmarked parts for Sword Designs will appear at the top of the list of parts.
 

 

Bookmarks on Metals and Molds

 
In the original game, bookmark ribbons only appeared on unique parts in your inventory. In Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors, we’ve also added the color-coded bookmark ribbons to Weapon Molds and the Metal Ores in the Forge, so it’s easier to follow through the entire process of making one of your special Epic Weapons, and you won’t have to keep returning to the Designs menu to remember what you’re making. The ribbons on Metal Ores will also show you how much is needed for bookmarked Designs, so you don’t accidentally use up all of your Crystal before making that bookmarked Epic Pike!
 

 

Recipe Labels

 
If you’ve bookmarked multiple Designs for the same type of weapon, there’s a helpful way to keep track of your bookmarks for this too! When you move your mouse over a part, a label will appear showing the bookmarked Design which includes that part. So now you don’t need to wonder whether that Grip is bookmarked for the Stormstrung or the Poseidon Bow! Weapon Molds will also show a label for the Design using it, and the Forge will show a list of weapons that use each Metal Ore when you roll over each bookmark ribbon.
 

 

Design Icons

 
In the original Jacksmith, the only way to keep track of parts you were saving for a future Epic Weapon was to just Bookmark that Design Recipe, so you could see the bookmark ribbons in your inventory for each part as a reminder. In Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors, we’ve added a new icon in the corner of each part in your inventory, which lets you know if that part is used in any of your collected Epic Weapon Designs, without having to bookmark anything. Now you can just check the icons to decide whether you want to use a part, or save it for later. The icon will also switch to showing a checkmark if it’s only used in Designs that you’ve already built in the past, in case you only want to hang on to parts for new Designs.
