Sneak Peek: Build Station Part 2

Hey Everyone!

So lets begin where we last left off in the Build Station. You just finished filling up the pie with Apples and Pecans. After that, the filling machine will slide away, and the bin will open up revealing Crusts for the top of the pie.

You will notice on the ticket, that the order calls for a “Vent Style” top crust. So you will drag the vent crust to the pie, making sure that you line it up just right before placing it.

Once you have dropped it onto the pie, the excess crust will be removed, and the pie will slide over to the Bake Station.

Now you won’t always have to put a top crust on the pie. If that is the case, you’ll simply need to click on the green button to skip this step and send it off to the Bake Station. Some customers may want something different like a Streusel crust, in which case you would pick up the scooper and sprinkle it onto the pie. When it’s finished pouring out, the pie will automatically slide off to the Bake Station.

So that’s pretty much it for the Build Station. We will be saving the Bake Station preview for another time because next week we need to talk about a major change coming to Papa’s Bakeria…
