Nowtime Newsletter: Dec 10th, 2025

Vol. I: Issue 001 December 10th, 2025

Duke Gotcha here with all the up-to-the-minute breaking news you’ve come to know and love! Today at the yearly investors’ meeting, it was announced that Nowtime News is launching an all-new digital newsletter, and right now, right this very instant, you are reading the FIRST issue.
This is a big step for us, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t start by introducing the talented team of anchors who’ll be helping me navigate this bold new world of newsletter news.

Hiya friends! My name is Zepha Ray, and I’ve just wrapped up my first week here at Nowtime News. I’ll be bringing you all the sunny highs, chilly lows, and everything-in-between forecasts that affect our wonderful viewing audience in the weeks to come.
While I’m still getting my maps and mug set up, I want to say hi to my niece Isadora, who’s been wondering what the chances are for a snow day next week in Oilseed Springs. Well, Dizzy Izzy, I’d say you’re out of luck on the snow-day-dream. The temperatures will be nice and low, but it’s clear skies all week long. Welp my friends, that’s all from me this week. Have a delightful day!

It’s Mumphrey Glint III here—but you can call me The Mumph, because that’s my name and games are my game. And let me tell you, folks, we’ve got an exciting year in store now that the Hockey Strike of ’25 is finally in the rearview.
On the Whiskview front, they’ve pulled the trigger on a big move, trading forward Korrigan for the Oniontown Ringers’ right winger, Pexton—a gritty scorer who loves crashing the net. And keep your eyes on rookie Megson, graduating from Whiskview’s developmental squad this season. The buzz around this kid is loud, and trust me, The Mumph doesn’t buy into hype unless there’s real heat on the ice.

Hello out there!
Nowtime Newsletter, you say? I’m always a little wary when a company starts nudging me to sign up for a newsletter. With the old bait and switch, the phishing scams, there are all kinds of fishy hooks in the water, and a newsletter can host quite a school of problems. But don’t worry, my readers, I took the lead and dove in. I wasn’t about to send my faithful readers marching toward some questionable call to “sign up” without knowing what waited at the bottom.
After searching through the depths of Nowtime News, I was surprised to find that this “newsletter” is barely a newsletter at all, with absolutely no email addresses to hand over and not an ounce of data to be mined. Just a public post, sitting out in the open where anyone can read it. I applaud Nowtime News for taking the high road and giving the audience a safe place to learn the facts.
So read away, my friends. This blog post, or newsletter if you prefer, has Shannon’s stamp of approval. And that’s The Scoop!
